Onion Soup Mix - our favorite herb/spice blend.

2/3 cup dried, minced onion

3 teaspoons parsley flakes

2 teaspoons onion powder

 4 teaspoons dehydrated celery or celery salt

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon  sugar

1/2 teaspoon ground pepper

This is a christmas plate my daughter made in school this year.   Get a clear glass plate (this was saucer size), turn the plate over, and place decorative muffin cups, flatten them out to create a pretty pattern.  Once the muffin cups are where you want them, cover the entire back with Mod Podge.   Let dry.  The top of the plate can be wiped clean, but do not get the bottom of the plate wet.  This ...

2 Minute Waffle Iron Chicken and Cheese Quesadillas

Butter the waffle Iron well, place tortilla on bottom, about a 1/2 cup shredded cheese, I use colby/jack mix, then place cooked and sliced chicken on the cheese, then the top tortilla.  Butter the top waffle plate on the iron, close, and wait two minutes.  The tortilla gets nice and brown and crispy on the edges and the cheese is gooey and delicious.  They taste better than Taco Bell quesadillas and cost a lot le...

I am all about easy, tasty meals for my family. These pork bites are juicy and tasty. With a electric griddle (or frying pan), heat to 350 degrees and coat with butter or oil. Pecan Pie Bars

 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls

1 cup chopped pecans or pecan halves

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup corn syrup

2 Tbsp butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla

1 egg, beaten

Baked Tacos

Baked Tacos

First, brown your ground beef and drain completely.

Next,  add refried beans, taco seasoning and about half a can of tomato sauce or tomato soup.

Mix together and scoop into taco shells, (stand them up in a casserole dish).

Sprinkle the cheese on top and bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

Very easy to make, and the kids like to put them together, and eat them!
